 Scandanavian Full Scribe
This is the preferred choice of home owners who love the look of logs and want to show them off to their greatest effect. In this method, log corners are saddle notched which creates and impeccable log joint. The full log-length is a V-through cut-out and filled with insulation.
 Post and Beam Construction
This design uses logs in a modular way, usually with mortice and tenon joinery. This is a popular method because of its cost effectiveness and no settling issues. It is also a "renovation friendly" style because of the large open areas between logs.
 "Fusion Style"
Perhaps the best of both worlds, which affords many of the eadvantages of full scribe and post and beam methods.
